Disaster Relief for Alma & Buffalo County

On August 11, Alma and the surrounding area received 8–12” of rain in less than 6 hours. Much of the damage was caused by moving earth and debris, something not covered by many homeowner’s insurance policies. St. John Lutheran in Alma is working with emergency services, banks and other churches to help those in need. If you would like to help, the best way is to give money, which will be sent to St John’s disaster relief fund. Make out your check to First Lutheran and put “St. John” in the memo line, or give at 1stlu.org/give.
