Application & Survey
Grant Application: Applications are accepted January 1–June 1 each year.
Grant Survey: As part of the grant award, we are ask recipients to complete a short survey after they utilize the funds awarded. Due by March 1 the following year.
The First Lutheran Church Foundation Fund was created in 1990, and, in addition to funding scholarships and capital improvements at First Lutheran Church, Onalaska, the Fund also provides funding for the following items:
Community outreach: For outreach into the community, including, but not limited to, grants to social service agencies, institutions and agencies to which this congregation relates, and to special programs designed for those persons in our parish area who are in spiritual and/or economic need.
ELCA missions: For missions of the ELCA at home and overseas, including, but not limited to, grants for First Lutheran Church-related groups, grants to the ELCA for new mission development in North America, professional leadership, educational ministries, world mission and ecumenism, TV evangelism and capital financing.
