Meet at the church on Dec. 13th from 2:30–4pm down in the Fellowship Hall to decorate Christmas cookies. The cookies will be handed out as gifts to the residents that we visit when the church goes caroling on Dec. 14th at 5pm. Parents are more then welcome, even encouraged, to attend the cookie decorating event!

I am so very proud of all the young youth who helped out with the church service on Oct. 12th. You did a brilliant job. You were all a huge help and the readers read beautifully. Thank you for participating. You are such a blessing to our church!! Keep watching for updates on when we’ll help run service again. It will be some time in the spring.

Young Youth’s first big event is the Rake N Run, TONIGHT at 4:30-7pm. Click here to RSVP on our Facebook page! Young Youth is a church group for youth in grades 2–5.

Our first big event will be the Rake N Run, taking place on Oct. 22nd from 4:30-7pm. We have done this service project in the past and it’s always a success and very rewarding. We go around to the neighboring houses around First Lutheran and rake their yards for them. Then we come back to the church to eat, do a devotional, and some kind of project with pumpkins. It’s such a remarkable night for all involved!

It’s green!! It may have been a tough spring with lots of rain and colder temperatures but it’s green!! God is great, life springs where it otherwise appeared to be dead. So, let’s celebrate with some fun events this summer.

The first event will be going to Noah’s Ark in June!...

I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter glorifying our Lord, spent with family and friends. Thank you to the youth that helped out with the pancake breakfast during Palm Sunday. A lot of people attended the breakfast and the help was greatly appreciated. We have many fun events coming up, so get the calendars out!!
