Young Youth Volunteering at Humane Society

If you like animals, especially cats and dogs, this event is for you! Young Youth, a group for children in grades 2-5, will volunteer at the Humane Society, on Tuesday, November 22, from 4-5pm. RSVP to katie@firstlu.org.

Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Worship

Members are invited to a special ecumenical worship service with our brothers and sisters in Christ from New Hope Fellowship and Onalaska United Method Church, on Wednesday, November 23, 7pm, at New Hope Fellowship, 420 2nd Avenue South, Onalaska. 

OHS Orchestra Fall Concert

The Onalaska High School Orchestra, with guest organist Randolph J. Lyden, will present its fall concert at First Lutheran Church on Monday, Nov. 21, at 7:30pm. The concert will be in the sanctuary and is free and open to the public.

Faith Alive Creative Circle

Monday, November 21, 6-9pm. Meeting the third Monday of each month in the fellowship hall, the Faith Alive Creative Circle is a gathering of people working out their creative muscles. Everyone is welcome. Bring whatever project you are working on and enjoy fellowship while doing it. Join us!

COME FOR SUPPER

First Lutheran is assisting with Come for Supper on Tuesday, November 22, at Our Savior’s in La Crosse. First Lutheran will help with food donations and volunteering to serve and clean up. The sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center. Call Gloria Kubiak if you have questions, 608.498.2762.

Onalaska Community Thanksgiving Dinner

November 24, from 11am-3pm
at the Onalaska Armory. Go to www.octd.org/volunteers to find ways to volunteer, or speak with Tom Brewer. 

Little LEAPs

This group is for parents/guardians and their children ages birth to 3 years old, and meets again on Sunday, Nov. 27, at 9:15am in room 102. We sing, dance, play, and pray together to learn ways to raise our little Christians in the home. We have time with the kids and time with just the adults. During the adult time, we have volunteers come in and play with our children as we talk. We welcome newcomers all the time.

Baptismal Preparation

Youth Christmas Parties!

Get your holiday festing started early!! Classic holiday movies will play in the background while we eat supper... and lots of holiday cookies and treats. Middle School: Sun., Dec. 4, noon-2pm, High School: Sun., Dec. 18, 6-8:30pm

Cookie Baking at First!

Adults will bake cookies on Thurs., Dec. 8, at 6pm for our Young Youth to decorate on Sat., Dec. 10. If you plan to join us, please consider bringing a batch of your favorite cookie dough to add to the mix and a snack or beverage to share!
