Holy Land Tour: Oct. 8-20, 2015

First Lutheran is sponsoring a trip to the Holy Land this fall! Join us as we take this alternative tour of Israel and the West Bank, discovering the powerful connection between faith and practice while exploring the land of the Bible. Vacation Bible School

Parent Share VBS

Parents are invited to join in conversation with each other in a special VBS week Parent Share, July 12-16. All parents are welcome in the Upper Room after VBS opening. Whether or not you’ve ever attended a Sunday Parent Share, join with other parents to share what is happening in your life and provide support for others who are doing this important ministry called parenting.

Thrivent Night at the La Crosse Loggers

COME FOR SUPPER

First Lutheran is assisting with Come for Supper on Tuesday, July 28, at Our Savior’s in La Crosse. First Lutheran will help with food donations and volunteering to serve and clean up. The sign-up sheets are on the Connecting Point table. Call Gloria Kubiak if you have questions, 608.498.2762.

Baptismal Preparation

Nurse/Doctor Needed

Sugar Creek Bible Camp is looking for a volunteer nurse or doctor the week of August 2–7 (Sunday at noon through Friday at approximately 2pm). They are short that week and need someone. The nurse or doctor can bring their family along free for the week; and if there is room in cabin groups, they can even place their children (or grandchild) in our programs. KAYWOS Clothes Available for Sale

KAYWOS clothes, “Klean Anything WithOut Streaks”, are available for sale from the church office during office hours, Mon.–Fri, 8am–4pm. Proceeds help with purchases not covered by the budget.

Opening: Part-Time Custodian

First Lutheran is seeking a part-time custodian to serve as our head custodian’s second assistant. Hours will be irregular and must alternate with other assistant custodian. Tasks include general building maintenance as assigned and all housekeeping duties to include bathrooms, windows, floors, fixtures and preventative maintenance as assigned.
