Due to lack of RSVP, this event has been canceled. There may be an informal visit to the art museum as a small group. If you are interested in being about the informal group, contact our Director of Small Groups, Bridget Crave.
As part of the Lily Grant’s support of Pastor Karyn’s sabbatical, members of First are offered some of the same sabbatical experiences.
Art and Spirituality is a one-day retreat. Take a trip to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum and learn and practice Visio Divina, the spiritual practice of praying with images. We will start the day learning about Visio Divina, then drive to Winona for lunch and then visit the museum together, practicing slowing down and exploring how we connect personally with art at the museum. You will also have time to explore the museum on your own. The Lily grant will cover cost of admission, but you are responsible for your meals. Nov. 17, 10:30am–4pm, beginning and finishing at First Lutheran. Led by Bridget Crave.
Minimum 4 people, maximum 12. Open to anyone 14 years and up. Sign up by November 12.
